Young Canadian Entrepreneurs

Young Canadian Entrepreneurs

My guest today on the radio show, Business in Motion, was Vivian Prokop - the CEO of Canadian Youth Business Foundation.

This charitable organization helps young Canadian entrepreneurs kick start their business and get in on the track to success.

They offer unsecrured loans of up to $15,000 to Canadian entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 34 years of age within their first year of business. The loans are given based on character and business plan not collateral. Yep - they are not like a regular bank.

Plus - and this is the real value added benefit - two years of mentoring from a successful business leader.

What an fascinating formula to launch young entrepreneurs on a journey of business success.

The Canadian Youth Business Foundation has a 95% success rate. They have helped more that 2,000 young entrepreneurs generate more than $200 million in sales and create over 12,000 jobs.

That's impressive.

If you are a young Canadian entrepreneur visit the website at www.cybf.ca to learn about applying for the program.

If you are a Canadian business leader visit the website at www.cybf.ca to learn how you might help by becoming a mentor.
