Clarity, Congruency and Consistency

I don’t remember the last time that three words resonated so well.

Clarity, congruency and consistency are the three words that riveted my attention when Mark LeBanc described the secrets of small business success.

What business are you in? Can you state that is one clear sentence that makes sense to even your grandmother? Clarity leads to focus in your marketing and selling. Clarity helps you decide what business to accept or reject. Clarity helps you save time and money. Clarity helps you leverage your resources.


Are you doing what you said you would do? Are you practicing the values you said you would? Are you sending the same message to your staff and suppliers that you want to send to your clients? Are you allowing policies that abuse your clients, staff or suppliers? Are you hiding some inconvenient truths?


Are you the same person no matter what? Are you following systems? Are you the same when you think no one is watching? Do you create a good process only to quit when you get bored?
